Custom Watercolor Home Portrait

I am excited to announce that I will be donating a custom watercolor piece to the Junior League of Asheville’s “Cheers to Volunteers!” event on February 8th, 2019. This will be a 12″x16.5″ custom home portrait on Khadi watercolor paper, made to order for the auction item winner. The piece will come unframed, and will be either hand-delivered or shipped anywhere in the US. If you haven’t read my blog post on Khadi paper, you really should! Khadi is the BEST watercolor paper, as it is handmade from recycled 100% cotton t-shirts in India. It truly takes your painting to the next level and it art in itself!

Modeled after a job fair, the Volunteer Expo is an opportunity for residents of Western North Carolina to learn about local nonprofits, their volunteer needs, and other ways to support these organizations. To make this event a success, the League is pleased to partner with over 60 local nonprofits, including organizations that specialize in addressing health, poverty, legal aid, environmental stewardship, women’s issues, arts, civic leadership, technology, education, and animal welfare.

Local nonprofits are an incredible asset to our community and are responsible for much of Buncombe County’s progress. We believe that the Volunteer Expo will be a great opportunity for Western North Carolina residents to connect with outstanding nonprofit organizations, learn about what they are doing, and how they can contribute (time, talent, or treasure).
