I perhaps owe having become a painter to flowers.– Monet

From the artist –The truth is, I haven’t always known I wanted to be a painter. I didn’t just wake up one day and decide either. It happened to me while I was walking through Monet’s gardens in the town of Giverny outside of Paris. I had decided to move to Barcelona and I stopped in Paris for a few weeks to set up and launch a portrait collection opening with The McLoughlin Gallery. Oh a whim I decided to take the bus to Giverny. As I was walking through Monet’s home and gardens I felt something ?????????. I suddenly felt chained to the path of Monet and decided right there to study watercolor. It doesn’t really make sense, either, because what did watercolor have to do with anything? I can’t really explain it, other than saying I just knew. I knew I wanted to study painting, and I knew it had to be watercolor. ⁣I spent the next 5 months attending art school and going on artist retreats in Barcelona. I painted every single day.⁣

To this day, I haven’t stopped painting and studying. I’ve never tired of it and I never stop thinking about it. ⁣This collection is dedicated to the town (and the artist behind these stunning gardens) that started it all for me, and kicked off a life of love and beauty I never knew could be so full. ⁣

Each painting is an original work, hand-painted on 140 lb Khadi fine art cotton paper made from recycled t-shirts in India.
